During Quarantine, Covid 3/27/2020 - Of course, things change day to day

I see the light, I do.
I had the vision watching television.
I was turning up the volume—26 to 27—
the sensation came and I
disappeared into it.

Slowly I had been working at
slowing down and being present.
Slowly my confinement
taught me what it meant—
I could see us emerging
more aware.

Nothing to do when the sun’s out—
a caveman in the city.
